Edna Deleone
April 22, 1921 — July 2, 2012
Edna DeLeone, 91, of W. Moody Ave., died Monday, July 2, 2012 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born April 22, 1921 in Hillsville, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Albert and Rose (Ross) Marshall. She was married to Domenick DeLeone who died July 30, 1992. Mrs. DeLeone was the Head Cook at the New Castle Business College for 11 years. She also worked for the Union School District in the Cafeteria.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth L. DeLeone of Lynnwood, WA, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharren Mehocic, three brothers, Alfonso, Henry, and John Marshall, and three sisters, Lucille Conti, Ida Yacabach, and Angeline Latina.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 7 PM to 9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Camillus Church. Father Thomas J. Lewandowski of St. Camillus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:00 AM. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery in New Castle.
