Thomas Wellman, 70, of Harrison Street, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Edison Manor Nursing Home in New Castle. He was born March 16, 1942 in New Castle, a son of the late Martin and Lola (Griffith) Wellman. Mr. Wellman was a member of the Chicago Janitors Union and a maintenance man in Chicago. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by one brother, Gary Wellman of Measury, OH, one sister, Pamela Thompson of Warren, OH, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home.
