Margaret A. ‘Peg’ Deahl, 73, of Edison Manor, formerly of Hazen Street, died Friday, June 7, 2013 at Edison Manor Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born June 15, 1939 in Jeannette, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Ringler) Rae. Ms. Deahl was a clerk at A Plus Mini Mart and worked at the New Castle News for many years. She enjoyed feeding squirrels.
She is survived by one son, Roger Deahl of Lebanon, PA, one brother, George ‘Ed’ Rae of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother William Rae.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
