Josephine Chiero

Josephine Chiero, 89, of North West St., Edinburg, PA, died Monday morning, January 23, 2006 at her home in Edinburg, Pennsylvania. She was born April 10, 1916 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania the daughter of Patsy and Mary (Minetti) Chiera, they precede her in death. Miss Chiero was a member of the Christ the King Parish and enjoyed knitting and crocheting and cooking and baking.

She is survived by 1 sister, Antonette LaRocca of New Castle, PA, 1 brother, Ralph Chiera of Edinburg, PA and a number of nieces and nephews..

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Bruno, Pete and Sam Chiero, and her sister Ann Chiero.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Lawrence Church. Father James Downs of Christ the King Parish will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Hillsville.
