Thelma L. Pettiford, 49, of South Ray Street, New Castle, died Monday, February 16, 2015 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was born March 27, 1965 in Grove City, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late John Heasley and Betty (Brogden) Heasley, her mother survives in New Castle. She was married to Robert R. Pettiford on July 12, 2009, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Pettiford was a member of Life Changing Ministry and enjoyed writing poems and drawing.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by three children, one brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.
A private visitation and funeral service will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Pastor Bill Rouper of Life Changing Ministry will be officiating.
