Joseph P. Valiensi, Jr., 72, of North Croton Avenue, New Castle, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. He was born August 29, 1943 in New Castle, a son of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Ross) Valiensi. Mr. Valiensi was head custodian at New Castle Area Schools retiring after 25 years. He was an Army veteren.
He is survived by two children, Nicholas Valiensi of Mesa, AZ, and Veronica Valiensi of New Castle, one brother, James Valiensi of New Castle, three sisters, Marlene Clark, Joanne MacKin, and Mary Ann Sniezek, all of New Castle, and three grandchildren.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
