Norma Jean Wimer

Norma Jean Wimer, 82, of Harmony Baptist Road, Shenango Twp., died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born August 18, 1928 in Harmony, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late William Kennedy, Jr. and Myrtle (Wimer) Duncan. She was married to David M. Wimer who died April 15, 2010. Mrs. Wimer was a homemaker and a member of the Castlewood Christian Missionary Alliance Church.

She is survived by two sons, Fred M. Wimer of Jamestown, PA, and David N. Wimer of New Castle, one sister, Susan Abraham of New Castle, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Fae Prebble.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. James O'Hara will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
