Brenda L. Book, 59, of S. Scott St., died Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. She was born in New Castle, on March 30, 1967, a daughter of the late David Arnold and Lillian (Marino) Duffield, her mother survives in WV. Brenda worked at Golden Hill Nursing Home as a CNA for 30 years. She enjoyed the outdoors and her front porch. Brenda also loved to decorate her house and host holiday meals.

In addition to her mother, she is also survived by three sons, Mark Arnold and his wife Lydia of Poland, OH, Anthony Gallucci and his girlfriend Anna Merritt of New Castle, and David Book and his wife Ashlee of New Castle, one granddaughter, Remington Gallucci, one brother, Edward Arnold, and three sisters, Annette Blakley, Elizabeth Durst, and Lisa Duffield.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by one brother, David Arnold.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
