Carmelita Pacelli, 82, of Lathrop Street, died Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Quality Life Services, New Castle. She was born in New Castle on December 30, 1943, a daughter of the late Carmen and Mabel (Viglucci) Pacelli. Ms. Pacelli was a saleswoman at Sally’s Beauty Salon for over 35 years. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, going to the casino, and spending time with cousins and family.

She is survived by one sister, Rose D’Augostine, one niece, Elizabeth Molinaro, one nephew, Carmen D’Augostine, and a number of loving cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 16, 2026, at 10:30am at St. Vitus Church. Father Ben Barr will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
