Concetta Pappas, 84 of New Castle, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at The Grove in Harmony. She was born on December 9th, 1940, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Nunzata Fava Bovo. Concetta married the late Andrew Pappas on August 6, 1960. Concetta was a beautician for many years and went on to work in the soft lines department at Sears, where she eventually retired from. Her favorite “job” she ever had was being a grandmother. Connie and Andy lived a fulfilling life together with their family being the center of their world. “Sunday Sauce at Grandma’s” was a staple within her family. She will be greatly missed by those who love her.

Concetta is survived by two sons, Chris A. Pappas and Michael J. Pappas both of New Castle, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a brother Steve Bovo and wife Josephine, all of New Castle.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Andrea L. Pappas, six brothers, Dominic, Philip, Anthony, Marchline (Ikey), Andrew and James and two sisters, Antionette Dominick and Mary Bovo.

Private services were held at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
