David L. Cox, 77, of Montgomery Drive, in Espyville, PA, died Thursday, April 2, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. He was born on September 26, 1948, in Monogahela, PA, a son of the late Lee and Lona (Watkins) Cox. David married Edwina R. (Oliver) Cox, on January 26, 2010, she survives at home. David was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam Era. Mr. Cox retired from Verizon where he worked as a lineman and in the corporate office.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in the National Cemeteries of the Alleghenies.
