David ‘Gomer’ R. Conti, 74, of E. Euclid Avenue, died Saturday, August 15, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. He was born on May 23, 1952, in New Castle, a son of the late Fred ‘Fritzie’ and Angela (Matteo) Conti. David worked at Shop and Save in Ellwood City and Joseph’s Supermarket. He played sports when he was young and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also enjoyed watching TV and was a wonderful uncle and friend.

He is survived by one brother, Gary Conti, two nieces, Kristen Conti and Amy Conti, one nephew, Justen Conti, and great-nephew and nieces, Matthew, Olivia, Kaylin, and Caryssa.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Alice Conti and one brother, Fred Conti.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, from 4 PM to 5 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be celebrated Friday, August 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate.
