Dawn Marie Luteran (nee Gratto) of New Castle, Pennsylvania passed away on March 7th at the age of 69.

She was preceded in death by her son Michael Baker, her brothers Harry “Butch” Gratto II and Patrick Gratto, and her father Harry Gratto Sr.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Stephen Luteran, her daughters Kristen Rosequist and Dana Luteran, granddaughters Lilly and Laura, parents Pat and Jack (stepfather) Hannah, brother John Gratto, and many other family and friends in and around North East, PA.

A strong, independent, and private person, Dawn was an avid reader who loved animals. She had many beloved dogs and cats over the years, the most recent addition being Lucy the Great Pyrenees. She loved birds and cows, and she always dreamt of seeing a bear near her home.

Service will be held at the North East Alliance Church at 81 East Main Street, North East, PA, 16428, at 12 o’clock Saturday, March 14, 2026. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite animal shelter in Dawn’s honor. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
