Dean M. Jones

Dean M. Jones, 82, of Wynfield Lane in New Wilmington, PA, died Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle, PA. He was born on May 17, 1943, in New Castle, PA, a son of the late Howard and Margaret (Gardner) Jones. Dean married Carol E. (Cavallo) Jones on January 2, 1964, she survives at home. Mr. Jones was a United States Army Veteran. He worked for CSX Transportation as a locomotive engineer, retiring after 34 years. He enjoyed golf, hunting, target, trap, and skeet hunting.

In addition to his wife, he is survived one daughter, Lisa M. Magee and her husband Dave of Pulaski, PA, one granddaughter, Katie Magee, one brother, Eden Jones of Mercer, PA, and three sisters, Mimsi Deal of New Castle, Judith Downing of Fredonia, PA, and Candance Jones of New Castle, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Jason Jones.
