Elsie DeRosa Pallott

Elsie (Ersilia) DeRosa Pallott, age 99, of New Castle, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 30, 2026, while surrounded by family at Jameson Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born on July 11, 1927, Elsie was a daughter of the late Angelo and Antoinetta (Tesone) DeRosa. She married the love of her life, Joseph Pallott, when he returned from WWII. He passed away on August 23, 2000.

Mrs. Pallott worked at the Pants Factory and later became a decorator at Shenango Pottery. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and a wonderful homemaker known for her Easter bread that was both artistically beautiful and delicious. Mrs. Pallott also enjoyed needlepoint, decoupage, and crafts.

She is survived by her three daughters, Deborah P. Memo (David), Pamela J. Harlan (Tim), and Marcia L. Pallott, three grandchildren, David J. Memo (Emily), Timothy J. Harlan (Courtney), and MaryBeth E. Bauer (Dave), eight great-grandchildren, Giorgia, Ford, Sawyer, Estella, Kaitlyn, Barrett, Branson, and Brewer, and one brother, David DeRosa.

In addition to her parents and husband, Elsie was preceded in death by five brothers, Tony, Billy, James, Michael, and Harry, and three sisters, Connie Pauline, Mary Rozzi, and Rosemarie Coratto.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Church of Genesis, 303 N. Cedar Street, New Castle, PA, 16102. Pastor Damian Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care provided by the staff at Jameson Nursing and Rehabilitation and 365 Hospice Care.
