Evelyn L. Hartman

Evelyn L. Hartman, 87, of Friendship Street, died Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was born in Durham, NC, the daughter of the late Lallian (Evans) Pitzer and her stepfather, Wesley L. Pitzer, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband Edward M. Hartman, who died on June 16, 1981. Mrs. Hartman enjoyed bird watching and playing cards, family functions, and above all spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Edward C. Hartman of Youngstown, OH, and Steven M. Hartman of Panama, five grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Ronald A. Hartman and Raymond L. Hartman, and two brothers, Ralph E. Evans and Wesley L. Pitzer, Jr.

Private services will be celebrated at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
