Frederick A. Cresce, 79, of Harlansburg Road, died Friday, July 17, 2026, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless Hospital. He was born in Washington D.C, on August 9, 1946, a son of the late Arthur and Anita (Audia) Cresce. He married Anna Liza (Cabriana) Cresce on December 5, 2005, she survives at home. Mr. Cresce was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He worked in the Electronics Department for the Washington Gas Company, retiring after 44 years. He then worked as a school bus driver for Laurel School District for 5 years. Mr. Cresce was a Ham Radio operator, and he loved electronics and fixing radios. He also loved music, and had a radio show on 107.5 FM, called Hard Implosion, and an internet radio show called Soft Explosion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Adrian G. Cresce of New Castle, and one brother, Larry Cresce.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Cresce.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Funeral Rites before the funeral service.
