Gerald M. Brandt, III, 47, W. Beachwood Avenue, Bessemer, died Friday, September 11, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, OH. He was born in Ellwood City, PA, on January 20, 1979, a son of Gerald M. Brandt, II, of Clintonville, PA, and Lorene ‘Lori’ (Fisher) Hopper of Mt. Jackson, PA. Gerald married Ashley M. (Taylor) Brandt on January 14, 2010, she survives in Bessemer. He worked for Delta Co. as a welder in Youngstown, OH. Gerald loved the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing, and hiking in the woods. He also enjoyed working on his Dodge diesel. Above all, he loved his family, granddaughter, and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is also survived by two children, Gerald M. Brandt, IV, and his fiancé Araya Ross of Ellwood City, and Nataleigh E. Brandt of Bessemer, one granddaughter, Lilah Brandt, one brother, Jacob Hopper and his wife Isabella, two sisters, Randi Brandt and Madeline Billhimer and her husband Anthony, grandparents, Gerald M. Brandt, Sr., and Katherine Brandt, Donald Edinger, and Norma Fisher, one sister-in-law, Alicia Taylor, father-in-law, Roy Taylor, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by, his mother-in-law, Leslie Taylor, grandparents, Harry Fisher Sr., and Janet Edinger, and two uncles, Randy Fisher and Donald Fisher.
