Glenavee Edna Luaine Jones

Glenavee Edna Luaine Jones, 97, of Woodland Hills Drive, died Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Elmwood Senior Care Center in Hubbard, OH. She was born in Chickasaw, PA, on October 13, 1927, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Edna (Hawk) Jones. She was married to the late LeRoy G. Jones, who died on January 23, 2011. Mrs. Jones worked as a painter for Shenango China for a number of years. She is a member of Faith Country Chapel. She loved to clean and take care of her home and family. She also enjoyed hunting. As a young woman, Glenavee and her sister traveled all over singing in churches as a member of the Nazarene.

She is survived by four children, Catherine E. Hoover and her husband Ron of Slippery Rock, PA, Joyce E. Marmo and her husband Derek, Sally J. Jones, and Kimberly A. Allen all of New Castle, four brothers, Larry Jones, Terry Jones, Billy Jones, and Vernon Jones, one sister, Cindy Jones-Spink, eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and seven great great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sylvia L. Jones, five brothers, Wendell Jones, Roy Jones, Bob Jones, Gib Jones, and Ben Jones, and two sisters, Barb Tuck and LaVerna Reid.

Private services will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
