Helen J. Call

Helen J. Call, 73, of Court Street, died Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. She was born in New Castle, on March 16, 1953, a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Barris) Terpilowski. She was married to the late Guy L. Call, who died September 29, 2022. Helen enjoyed crocheting, completing puzzles and playing puzzle games, and listening to music. She also loved her two cats, Maynard and Frito.

She is survived by three children, Kiley J. Prestopine and her husband Mark, Frank G. Call, and Anthony L. Call and his wife Michelle all of New Castle, and four grandchildren, Ian Call, Lucy Call, Dante Call, and William Scott.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Terpilowski, and two sisters, Florence Cunningham and Patricia Brown.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4 PM to 6 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate.
