Iris S. Bailey, 62, of Harbor Street, died Thursday, October 8, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was born on August 25, 1964, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Ira and Gladys (Baxter) Watt. Iris was married to the late Randolph S. Bailey, who died March 18, 2009. Mrs. Bailey worked as bartender for the VFW and Jigaley Club for 15 years, and then worked for Adams Manufacturing as a machine operator. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, old black and white movies, Westerns, and MASH. Above all, she loved cooking, especially big holiday dinners, and keeping her family together.

She is survived by two sons, Randy S. Bailey and Harley D. Bailey and his wife Kelsey, a number of grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, one brother, Ike Watt, three sisters, Mary Cummings, Carol Richard, and Bonnie Karr, and her close friend, Patty Bara and her husband Dave.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa S. Baughman, two brothers, Samuel and Frank Watt, and one sister, Shirley Grotzinger.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
