Joseph F. Sleigher, 67, of S. Oakdale Avenue, Hermitage, PA, died Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at his residence in Hermitage. He was born in New Castle, PA, on September 19, 1958, a son of the late Joseph C. and Doris V. (Grannis) Sleigher. Mr. Sleigher worked for Grand Thermal Product as a welder and Traco Windows and Doors as a window manufacturer. He enjoyed woodworking and watching westerns. He loved to draw, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and above all, being with his family.

He is survived by five children, Valarie R. Work and her husband Johnny, Kari L. Thome and her husband Daniel, Christina M. Mesol and her husband Robert ‘RC’, Jennifer A. McClaine and her fiancé Brian Calvert, and Stephanie L. McClaine, and ten grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Link and Alice Lawton.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 3, 2026, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be celebrated Monday, August 3, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
