Louis Recchione, 91, of E. Moody Avenue, died Friday, November 14, 2025, at Quality Life Services in New Castle. He was born on May 14, 1934, in Palena, Italy, a son of the late Arturo and Lucia (DelMonaco) Recchione. He was married to the late Mary Ann (Buonpane) Recchione, who died December 31, 2014. Mr. Recchione worked in labor at Crane Company and Penntex for a number of years and then retired from Westminster College as a custodian after 15 years. He enjoyed gardening and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by three children, Joanne Dunmyre and her husband Winn of Pittsburgh, Lisa Recchione and Louis Recchione, Jr., and his wife Kim all of New Castle, six grandchildren, Sam (Courtney) and Alex Dunmyre, Kiara and Arielle Recchione, and Hannah and Jaiden Jones, and one sister, Marie Ferrari of France.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Oswaldo Recchione.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the William F. DeCarbo & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 4:00 PM, at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
