Margaret A. 'Peggy' Julian

Margaret A. ‘Peggy’ Julian, 83, of E. Friendship Street, died Friday, February 14, 2025, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was born on May 31, 1941, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Paul and Betty (Richards) Tyrrell. She was married to the late Peter A. Julian, who died on September 23, 2016. Mrs. Julian worked at Hill View Manor for 25 years and Golden Hill Nursing Home for 15 years as a cook. She was the former owner of Peggy Julian Catering, and enjoyed cooking, baking, bingo, and scratch tickets. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by four children, William ‘Billy’ Julian and his wife Carmella of New Castle, Jeffrey Julian and his wife Trish of East Palestine, OH, Paul Julian and his wife Melissa of New Castle, and Mark Julian and his wife Deanna of New Castle, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Patterson Roberts and Betty Lou Moyer.
