Marilyn L. Ross, 88, of E. Northview Avenue, died Monday, September 14, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was born in Mercer, PA, on November 21, 1937, a daughter of the late Carl and Ernistine G. (Shaffer) King. Marilyn enjoyed cooking, word book puzzles, Bingo, and arts and crafts.

She is survived by four children, Robert Ross, Samuel Ross, James Ross, and Nancy Ross, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter, and four brothers, Ed King, Richard King, Richard Shaffer, and William King.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two children, David Wayne Ross and Joseph “JoJo” Ross, three grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, five brothers, Robert King, Thomas King, Donny Sturanski, James King, and Jack King, and three sisters, Dorothy Lambert, Betty Sturanski, and Olive Joan McCue.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12 PM to 2 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, September 19, 2026, following the visitation at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate.
