Richard 'Rick' K. Houston, Jr.

Richard ‘Rick’ K. Houston, Jr., 51, of Copper Road, died Sunday, August 16, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. He was born on September 18, 1974, in New Castle, a son of Richard K. and Connie S. (Ruby) Houston, Sr. Rick leaves behind his wife, Jolene (Alberico) Houston of 22 years, she survives at home. He was part owner/operator of RH Technical for 21 years. Rick loved fishing, boating, water skiing, hunting, and working around his house, he was very handy. Above all, he loved his children.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is also survived by three children, Natalie N. Houston, Isiah M. Witkowski, and Addison E. Houston, one brother, David ‘DJ’ Giles, and his mother-in-law, Marlene McCormick.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Pat Houston, and Norman and Shirley Ruby.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Ted Saad will officiate. Burial will be in Briar Hill Cemetery.
