Ronald J. ‘Joey’ Adams, 79, of SR 956, in Volant, died Saturday, May 23, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. He was born on January 14, 1947, in New Castle, a son of the late Alvin Adams, Sr., and Geraldine (DeGaton) Adams. Joey worked at Sears as a mechanic retiring after 27 years. He enjoyed watching Western movies, fishing, and going for rides in the mountains. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by two daughters, Belynda Liston of Pulaski, and Rhonda Caldwell and her husband Tom Block of Mercer, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Alvin Adams, Jr., and John Adams, and five sisters, Doris Gandee, Darlene Adams, Marlene Biros, Linda Adams, and Debbie Taylor.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Donald Wayne, William, Norman, and Larry Adams, and six sisters, Betty O’Cular, Wanda Magno, Beverly Porter, Arlene Dawson, Minnie Harding, and Marie Krossen.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 12 PM to 2 PM, at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel.
