Sallye Dawn Fiscus, 60, of New Castle, PA passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Wednesday December 3, 2025, at UPMC Jameson Hospital, after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. Sallye was born in Warren, PA on April 15,1965 to the late Braden Fiscus and Geryl Marsha Dooley. She graduated from Sheffield Area Jr-Sr High School in 1983 and went on to earn a degree at Butler County Community College. Sallye was a member of Holy Spirit Parish where she was the First Grade Faith Formation Teacher and a volunteer. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary. Sallye was a big New Castle Basketball Fan, watching stats when unable to watch the game.

Sallye is survived by her son Vernon (Ashley) Fiscus of West Elizabeth, PA; Daughter Shelby Norris of New Castle, PA; Grandchildren: Averi Rain, Everley Rae and Mason James Fiscus; Brother Tom (Jennifer) Fiscus; Nieces: Brooke Fiscus-St.Vincent, Kaitlyn Fiscus; Nephew Noah Fiscus; Beloved Fur babies Abbie (dog) and Tammie (cat).

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by, her lifelong partner, John Edgar Norris.

Respecting Sallye’s wishes there will be no services at this time, but a Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
