Thomas L. Craven, Jr., of Savannah Road, died Sunday, March 15, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. He was born on September 1, 1951, in New Castle, PA, a son of the late Thomas L. and Dora J. (Bessell) Craven, Sr. Thomas married Patricia J. (Kloss) Craven on November 17, 1973, she survives at home. Mr. Craven worked for ES Rock Cement as a heavy equipment operator, retiring after 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, collecting guns, and target shooting.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three children, Tricia J. Craven, Thomas W. Craven, and Kelly S. Mele and her husband Aaron all of New Castle, and one granddaughter, Autumn R. Mele.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Craven, and one sister, Patty Shear.
